What is the ruling on dissecting insects in medical colleges?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah reward you: Shaykh, some scientific colleges, particularly the College of Biology, perform dissection of insects for the purpose of learning exploration. However, the method of dissection involves taking the insect while it is alive, placing it in a jar or bottle, and exposing it to extreme cold until it dies, after which the dissection begins. What is the ruling on this action?

The Shaykh : There is nothing wrong with it; there is no harm in this, because this is the only way to obtain such knowledge. Allah, Mighty and Majestic, says:
It is He who created for you all of that which is on the earth. Then He directed Himself to the heaven, [His being above all creation], and made them seven heavens
[Al-Baqarah 2:29]
created for you all of that which is on the earth خَلَقَ لَكُمْ مَا فِي الْأَرْضِ
[Al-Baqarah 2:29]
Therefore, if a she-camel were to run away and the people caught up with it, then threw stones at it until it fell and died, it would be lawful to eat, even though this is not the known method of slaughter. Yes.
