Exegesis of Verses from Surat al-Waqi'ah

All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all his Companions.

To proceed: This is the two hundred and sixth meeting of the gatherings known as: (The Open Door Meeting), which take place every Thursday, and this Thursday is the twelfth of the month of Safar in the year (1420 AH).
We begin this meeting, as is customary, with the exegesis of verses from the Book of Allah, Mighty and Majestic, and in the previous meeting we concluded with the words of Allah, Mighty and Majestic, in Surat al-Waqi'ah:

⁽⁸³⁾ Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat ⁽⁸⁴⁾ And you are at that time looking on - ⁽⁸⁵⁾ And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see - ⁽⁸⁶⁾ Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed, ⁽⁸⁷⁾ Bring it back, if you should be truthful?

فَلَوْلا إِذَا بَلَغَتِ الْحُلْقُومَ * وَأَنْتُمْ حِينَئِذٍ تَنظُرُونَ * وَنَحْنُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنْكُمْ وَلَكِنْ لا تُبْصِرُونَ * فَلَوْلا إِنْ كُنتُمْ غَيْرَ مَدِينِينَ * تَرْجِعُونَهَا إِنْ كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
