Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (He is the First and the Last, the Manifest and the Hidden)]

Allah the Exalted said:
He is the First and the Last, the Ascendant and the Intimate, and He is, of all things, Knowing.
[al-Hadid: 3] (The First) means: He before whom there is nothing, and (the Last): He after whom there is nothing, and (the Manifest): He above whom there is nothing, and (the Hidden) He below whom there is nothing. This is how the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) explained it. It is well known that we do not return to the statement of any human being, whoever he may be, after the explanation of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
(And He is All-Knowing of everything) means: He is All-Knowing of what has been and what will be, so He does not forget what has passed nor is He ignorant of what is to come, as Allah the Exalted said on the tongue of Musa (peace be upon him) when Pharaoh asked him:
(51) [Pharaoh] said, "Then what is the case of the former generations?" (52) [Moses] said, "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord in a record. My Lord neither errs nor forgets."
[Ta-Ha: 51-52] (does not err) means: does not become ignorant, because error is intended to mean ignorance, as in His saying to His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him):
And He found you lost and guided [you],وَوَجَدَكَ ضَالاً فَهَدَى
[Al-Duha: 7] meaning: ignorant, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) did not know anything about the Islamic Shari'ah before it was revealed to him, because of the saying of Allah the Exalted:
You did not know what is the Book or [what is] faith
[Al-Shura: 52] .

And his statement:
and He is Knowing of all things.
[al-Hadid: 3] Does this include the actions of the servants and the words of the servants? Yes.
It includes this, and indeed He knows, Glorified and Exalted is He, what is in the heart of a person even if he does not reveal it,As Allah the Exalted said:
(16) And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein (17) When the two receivers receive, seated on the right and on the left.
[Qaf: 16-17] So beware of concealing in your heart anything for which Allah will hold you accountable. But the whispers that occur in the heart to which a person does not incline, but rather fights them and tries to distance himself from them as much as possible, do not harm him in any way. Rather, they are a sign of the sincerity of his faith; because Satan only comes to the heart to cast whispers into it if it is a sound heart. But if the heart is not sound, Satan does not whisper to it, because it has already ended.
