Exegesis of His saying, the Exalted: (Indeed, the men who give charity and the women who give charity, and they have loaned Allah a goodly loan)
Allah the Exalted said: [Al-Hadid: 18] .
Its original form is (Indeed, those who give charity) but the taa was changed to a saad for a known morphological reason among the grammarians,Meaning: meaning: Indeed, the men who give charity and the women who give charity.
His statement:[Al-Hadid 57:18] That is: they spent in the cause of Allah with good spending,And good spending is that which combines two conditions: The first: sincerity for Allah Mighty and Majestic.
And the second: Following the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).
So does the one who spends with showing off have loaned Allah a goodly loan? No, so what about a person who gives charity to a poor person in order for people to see him,They say: saying so-and-so gives a lot of charity, this person is a show-off and his charity does not benefit him and is not accepted from him; because every deed intended for other than Allah is not accepted,Allah Blessed and Exalted is He said in the Qudsi Hadith: (I am the most jealous of the partners regarding shirk (associating partners with Allah); whoever does a deed in which he associates with Me other than Me, I leave him and his shirk) Another person worships Allah the Exalted with acts of worship that are not prescribed, an innovator,But he is sincere, if you asked him: "Why did you do this?"He said: I want the reward of Allah, I want to draw near to Allah.
Does his worship benefit him? No, due to the lack of following the Prophet.
So His saying, Mighty is He: [Al-Hadid: 18] That is: those who are sincere in it for Allah and follow the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).
And here is a question: (They have loaned Allah) Is Allah poor such that He is loaned? By no means, He is not poor, (They have certainly disbelieved who say that Allah is poor and we are rich) So how does He say: loan Allah? He says this, Exalted and Majestic is He, to make clear that their reward is guaranteed just as the loan is guaranteed; if I were to loan someone a thousand riyals, it would be established in his liability and he must repay me, likewise Allah Mighty and Majestic made worship of Him in the position of a loan,Meaning: that it is guaranteed and will be returned to you.
A good deed is multiplied ten times up to seven hundred times up to many times.
But how can one be ten when this is riba (usury or interest) in a loan?
First: There is no riba (usury or interest) between the servant and his Lord.
Second: If the borrower gives you something without a condition, it is lawful,Meaning: If he borrows a thousand riyals from you and gives you a thousand and one hundred without a condition, it is lawful; because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) borrowed a bakkarah -Bakkarah meaning: a small camel - and returned something better than it,And he said: (The best of you are the best in repaying) Did the lender benefit or not? He benefited, but he benefited without a condition,For this reason you find the phrase of the jurists: (Every condition that brings benefit to the lender is riba (usury or interest)) Look at (Every condition) and they did not say: every increase.
Therefore: If someone says: Indeed, Allah the Exalted rewards a good deed ten times up to seven hundred times up to many times, and Allah the Exalted named spending in His cause a loan, so how is it correct that He rewards a good deed ten times up to seven hundred times? We said: The answer is from two angles: First: that there is no riba (usury or interest) between the servant and his Lord.
Second: That the increase, if it is not a condition, is permissible, and this indicates the generosity of the one who repays.
Allah the Exalted said:[Al-Hadid 57:18] This is the khabar (predicate) of inna,Meaning: [Al-Hadid: 18] That is: they are given their reward multiplied, ten times up to seven hundred times up to many times.
Allah the Exalted said: [Al-Hadid: 18] That is: a noble reward, and the noble is the good and pure, and that is because Paradise contains what no eye has seen, nor an ear has heard, nor has it ever occurred to the heart of any human being.
This is noble, and the origin of nobility is goodness,And the evidence for this: The saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) to Mu'adh ibn Jabal when he sent him to Yemen: (And beware of the best of their wealth) That is: when you take the zakah (the obligatory alms), avoid the best of their wealth,Meaning: its finest parts: (And beware of the supplication of the oppressed, for there is no barrier between it and Allah) .
Allah the Exalted said:
Indeed, the men who practice charity and the women who practice charity and [they who] have loaned Allah a goodly loan - it will be multiplied for them, and they will have a noble reward.
Indeed, the men who give charity
إِنَّ الْمُصَّدِّقِينَHis statement:
