Exegesis of His saying, the Exalted: (Who is it that will lend to Allah a goodly loan, so He will multiply it for him, and he will have a noble reward?)
Then He, the Exalted, said, encouraging and motivating [people] to spend in His cause: [Al-Hadid: 11] Meaning: Where are those who lend to Allah a goodly loan,Meaning: spending in what He commanded them to spend in,And Allah pointed to two things in this: sincerity and following [the Prophet],Sincerity in His saying: [Al-Hadid: 11] Meaning: He does not desire anything other than Allah, the Exalted, and following in His saying: ((goodly)) [Al-Hadid: 11] Because a good deed is what conforms to the Islamic Shari'ah, and these two—I mean: sincerity and following—They are two conditions in every deed: mean that one is sincere to Allah and follows the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) in it.
Allah the Exalted described spending in His cause as a loan, likening it to the loan that a person lends to another; because if you lend to someone else, you are confident that it will be returned to you, and likewise, good deeds will certainly be returned to the person without doubt,And for this he said: [Al-Hadid: 11] The multiplication here is the increase, and Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, has specified its amount in Surat al-Baqarah,So he said: [Al-Baqarah: 261] So if you spend a dirham, its reward is seven hundred dirhams as a reward from Allah, the Exalted. And Allah's grace is greater than His justice and more expansive, and His mercy precedes His wrath. So He will multiply it for him to seven hundred, or even more, as came in the hadith, to many multiples [Al-Hadid: 11] Meaning: good and vast, and that is in what he will find in Paradise. In it is what no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and what has not occurred to the heart of any human being.
Then He, the Exalted, said, encouraging and motivating [people] to spend in His cause:
Who is it that would loan Allah a goodly loan so He will multiply it for him and he will have a noble reward?
مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يُقْرِضُ اللَّهَ قَرْضاً حَسَناً فَيُضَاعِفَهُ لَهُ وَلَهُ أَجْرٌ كَرِيمٌWho is it that would loan Allah
مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يُقْرِضُ اللَّهَAllah the Exalted described spending in His cause as a loan, likening it to the loan that a person lends to another; because if you lend to someone else, you are confident that it will be returned to you, and likewise, good deeds will certainly be returned to the person without doubt,And for this he said:
