Ruling on the obligation of greeting the mosque for one who enters the mosque library

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Is greeting the mosque obligatory in the mosque library located at the rear of the mosque? The Shaykh: Is the library inside the mosque or outside of it?The questioner: Outside the mosque.

The Shaykh: Did it enter within the mosque’s enclosure? The questioner: No.

The Shaykh: It has no greeting, and it does not carry the ruling of the mosque. Buying and selling, hiring, and leasing are permissible in it. If it is within the enclosure, it is part of the mosque, unless it was built before the mosque, in which case it is independent.
