A student informing Shaykh Al-Albani of his trip to Khan Younis in Palestine to inspect the state of the Salafi da'wah and learn about the da'wah activities of the Salafis

The student : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may prayers and peace be upon our master Muhammad, and upon his family and all his Companions.
As for what follows, I inform you that I arrived yesterday from Palestine, where I stayed for about fourteen days, most of which were in the West Bank. Then, at the request of some shaykhs, I went to our brothers in Khan Younis to see what our brothers there are providing in support of the foundation you always mention, namely purification and education. They are currently building the Masjid al-Bal, a house for hadith, and a house for the Noble Qur'an. They came, and their relationship with the shaykhs here is not very strong, so the shaykhs asked me to go there and see whether what they claimed is true or false.

The Shaykh : Very good.
The student : And I am pleased to tell you that what I saw is heartening.

The Shaykh : What Allah willed!
The student : In fact, they are extremely keen on teaching 'aqidah. I saw their activity in teaching there; they start with the youth, and they also have lessons for women, lessons for the youth, and lessons for children, all centered on the foundation of purification and education. What they lack is the expansion of the mosque, which they have already built a long way toward, but the final items remain, such as the windows and other work of this kind. I brought live photos of this project. In reality, I was heartened and very happy when I saw them focusing on 'aqidah and on authentic hadiths, because the brother Samir Mubah, may Allah reward him with good, is a graduate of the College of Hadith at the Islamic University, and he follows the methodology of the people of hadith in studying, tracing, and verifying. I can say, yes, I saw him in a good state. I saw the youth there being extremely keen on the circles of knowledge, to the point that when I delivered a lecture, the youth who attended—you would be amazed at their commitment to the Sunnah and their application of it, even in straightening the rows.

The Shaykh : What Allah willed.
The student : In fact, if the imam sometimes takes five minutes to straighten the row from the beginning to the end, the people do not...

The Shaykh : They do not complain.
The student : They do not complain. I thought they would complain, but they understand this matter.

The Shaykh : What Allah willed.

The questioner : Yes, and they always, I mean, they love the people of hadith. They mention you and Shaykh Ibn Baz and our shaykhs with good, and they are keen on your fatwas and your words, and even your tapes, which are widely available there, praise be to Allah. But they lack a great deal, and I have noted what they lack, and if Allah wills, assistance will come to them soon, if Allah wills.
