Allah the Exalted said:

In both of them are fruit and palm trees and pomegranates.

فِيهِمَا فَاكِهَةٌ وَنَخْلٌ وَرُمَّانٌ

[Al-Rahman: 68] And there He says:

In both of them are of every fruit, two kinds.

فِيهِمَا مِنْ كُلِّ فَاكِهَةٍ زَوْجَانِ

[Al-Rahman: 52] As for this one, He said: (In them are fruits, and date palms, and pomegranates) Date palms and pomegranates are known in this world, but you must know that these two are not equal. The name is the same, but the thing named differs greatly.And the evidence for that is the saying of Allah the Exalted:

And no soul knows what has been hidden for them of comfort for eyes as reward for what they used to do.

فَلا تَعْلَمُ نَفْسٌ مَا أُخْفِيَ لَهُمْ مِنْ قُرَّةِ أَعْيُنٍ جَزَاءً بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ

[Al-Sajdah: 17] If the date palms and pomegranates in Paradise were like the date palms and pomegranates in this world, we would know, but we do not know. So the name is the same, but the reality is different.For this reason, Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) said: [There is nothing in Paradise from what is in this world except the names only]

⁽⁶⁸⁾ In both of them are fruit and palm trees and pomegranates. ⁽⁶⁹⁾ So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

فِيهِمَا فَاكِهَةٌ وَنَخْلٌ وَرُمَّانٌ * فَبِأَيِّ آلاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

[Al-Rahman: 68-69].
