Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (When the Event occurs)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Exegesis of His saying, the Exalted: (When the Event occurs)

Allah, Mighty and Majestic, said:
(1) When the Occurrence occurs, (2) There is, at its occurrence, no denial. (3) It will bring down [some] and raise up [others].إِذَا وَقَعَتِ الْوَاقِعَةُ * لَيْسَ لِوَقْعَتِهَا كَاذِبَةٌ * خَافِضَةٌ رَافِعَةٌ
[Al-Waqi'ah: 1-3] .
Allah omitted the answer to the condition in these verses so that the mind may consider every possible outcome,Meaning: When the Event occurs, the great terrors will appear, the people will be divided, and what Allah and His Messenger informed about regarding what will happen on the Day of Resurrection will come to pass,And his statement: (When the Event occurs) is like His saying: (The Inevitable: What is the Inevitable?) and the intended meaning is the Day of Resurrection. (There is no liar for its occurrence) meaning: there is no falsehood regarding its occurrence; rather, its occurrence is the truth and inevitable. Belief in the Day of Resurrection is one of the six pillars of faith that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) informed Jibril about when he asked him about faith,He said: (That you believe in Allah and His angels and His books and His messengers and the Last Day and the divine decree, its good and its evil) And Allah the Exalted often pairs belief in Him with belief in the Last Day; because belief in the Last Day encourages a person to do good deeds and to stay away from bad deeds; because he believes that there is a Last Day in which the doer of good is rewarded for his good and the doer of evil is punished for his evil.
(Lowering and raising) meaning: it is lowering and raising,Meaning: In it, some people are lowered and others are raised. Who is raised?Allah, Mighty and Majestic, said:
Allah will raise those who have believed among you and those who were given knowledge, by degreesيَرْفَعِ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنْكُمْ وَالَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْعِلْمَ دَرَجَاتٍ
[Al-Mujadilah: 11] So the people of knowledge and faith are those who have elevation in this world and the Hereafter, and those other than them are placed low according to their distance from faith and knowledge,Therefore: It lowers the people of ignorance and disobedience, and raises the people of knowledge and faith. How many a person in this world is high in status and honored by people, yet on the Day of Resurrection will be among the most lowly of Allah's servants. The tyrants and the arrogant will be gathered on the Day of Resurrection like dust, and people will trample them with their feet, even though in this world they were arrogant, proud, and haughty toward Allah's servants. But on the Day of Resurrection, they will be placed low and humiliated, having been disgraced by Allah (Mighty and Majestic).
