Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (When the Occurrence occurs. It is not a lie for its occurrence. It lowers and it raises)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : We are discussing a surah that Allah the Exalted began by mentioning the categories of people on the Day of Resurrection, and then concluded it by mentioning the conditions of people at the time of death, meaning at the time of dying. What is this surah? All of it is contrary to the Occurrence. Perfect. Allah the Exalted said:
(1) When the Occurrence occurs, (2) There is, at its occurrence, no denial. (3) It will bring down [some] and raise up [others]. إذا وقعت الواقعة . ليست لوقعتها كاذبة . خافضة رافعة
[Al-Waqi'ah 56:1-3]
It is the Occurrence on the Day of Resurrection, meaning the great one, severe in its impact upon people.
There is, at its occurrence, no denial. ليس لوقعتها كاذبة
[Al-Waqi'ah 56:2]
Rather, it is truth and reality. It lowers and it raises. There will be the great loss. In this world, no matter what, there is no loss. If one of the people is richer than us, or has more children, or has more houses, or something similar, there is no loss. My brothers, there is no loss. Why? Because this wealth will not remain for you; either it will perish before you, or you will perish before it. There is no loss. Each one of us, whether rich or poor, has nothing but the filling of his stomach, even if it is from tree leaves. And where does what fills his stomach go? Yes, it goes to the restrooms. All people are equal in this. And perhaps the rich person, when he eats the best food and the finest food, his stomach twists and it pains him, and upon exiting, he also exits with difficulty. So which is more pleasant? The poor person who eats what is made easy for him with ease and finds no pain in his stomach and no pain upon expelling it, or the rich person who eats from everything and his stomach twists and he finds pain upon expelling this food? Which is the better life? The first one. So the loss is on the Day of Resurrection. Allah the Exalted said:
The Day He will assemble you for the Day of Assembly - that is the Day of Deprivation يوم يجمعكم ليوم الجمع ذلك يوم التغابن
[At-Taghabun 64:9]
On the Day of Resurrection
It lowers and it raises خافضة رافعة
How many people in this world are high, high in status, such that one cannot reach them except through a secretary, who will be lowered on the Day of Resurrection? And perhaps a person in this world is disheveled, dusty, pushed at the doors, not heeded and not looked at, who will be on the Day of Resurrection what? High in status. How many a high person did the Occurrence lower, and how many a lowly person did it raise?
It lowers and it raises خافضة رافعة
