The disbeliever does not see his Lord on the Day of Resurrection
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Does the disbeliever see his Lord on the Day of Resurrection? And what is the answer to the verse: [Al-Mutaffifin: 15] ?
First: Has it been established—may Allah bless you—That he sees his Lord before everything, until you say: What is the answer to the verse? He does not see Allah; the disbeliever does not see his Lord (Mighty and Majestic) in the Hereafter, because of His saying, the Exalted: [Al-Mutaffifin: 15] and by His saying, the Exalted: [Al-Qiyamah: 24] meaning: she does not see her Lord.
As for the hypocrite, he sees Allah (Mighty and Majestic), but in the end, a barrier is placed between him and Allah (Mighty and Majestic), as mentioned in the long hadith of Abu Sa'id regarding the Lord uncovering His leg. Those who prostrated to the Lord with sincerity prostrated, while those who did not prostrate except for showing off and seeking fame were unable to prostrate. We seek refuge in Allah from this.
The questioner: O Shaykh! In Al-Bab al-Maftuh, it is stated that the disbeliever sees his Lord once, and the hypocrite sees him twice.
The Shaykh: No, what you read is incorrect. Go back and check.
The questioner: O Shaykh, is there not a statement by the Shaykh al-Islam that the disbeliever sees his Lord? The Shaykh: I do not know, but the word of Allah that is before us is what you heard.
No! Indeed, from their Lord, that Day, they will be partitioned.
