Exegesis of His saying, the Exalted: (And He will make for you a light by which you walk, and He will forgive you)

Allah the Exalted said:
make for you a light by which you will walkوَيَجْعَلْ لَكُمْ نُوراً تَمْشُونَ بِهِ
[Surah al-Hadid: 28] This means: if you believe and establish faith along with mindfulness of Allah, He will reward you with two rewards and make for you a light by which you walk,Meaning: a knowledge by which you proceed to Allah (Mighty and Majestic) with insight. In this is evidence that mindfulness of Allah is among the causes of acquiring knowledge. How many are there who seek knowledge, seeking memorization, meaning they ask for it, seeking understanding,So we say: that its acquisition is easy, and that is through the mindfulness of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) and the establishment of faith, which is the consequence of knowledge. Act upon what you have learned, and you will obtain what you did not know. So, the mindfulness of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) is undoubtedly among the causes of the increase of knowledge. And for this he said:
make for you a light by which you will walkوَيَجْعَلْ لَكُمْ نُوراً تَمْشُونَ بِهِ
[Al-Hadid 57:28]
That is: you proceed by it -Meaning: by its cause - a correct proceeding that leads you to Allah (Mighty and Majestic).
and forgive you your sinsوَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذنوبكم
[Ali 'Imran 3:31]
That is: He covers them for you and pardons you, so there is no punishment and no disgrace.
And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ
[Al-Baqarah 2:218]
That is: He is the One of forgiveness and mercy,As Allah (Mighty and Majestic) said:
And indeed, your Lord is full of forgiveness for the people despite their wrongdoingوَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذُو مَغْفِرَةٍ لِلنَّاسِ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ
[Surah al-Ra'd: 6] And Allah the Exalted said:
And your Lord is the Forgiving, full of mercyوَرَبُّكَ الْغَفُورُ ذُو الرَّحْمَةِ
[Surah al-Kahf: 58] So, al-Ghafur means: the One of forgiveness, the One of mercy means: the One of mercy. This is because the human being is in need of forgiveness for sins that have occurred from him, and of mercy that guides him, by which he avoids sins, and by which he finds the way to repentance if he disobeys.
