The Ruling on Conditioning Supplication with the Will of Allah

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Your Eminence! What is the ruling on saying: With success, if Allah wills,For example, in supplication, one says: May Allah guide you, or?
It is better for a person not to condition that with the will of Allah, but rather he should be decisive. But if he says: (If You will) — addressing Allah (Mighty and Majestic) — becomes forbidden.Meaning: You must know the difference between (if Allah wills) and (if You will). (If You will) is greater and more ugly, because it is an address to Allah (Mighty and Majestic). So it is as if the person is addressing Allah and saying: (If You will, forgive me, and if You will, do not forgive me; I do not care). For this reason, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: (Let none of you say: O Allah, forgive me if You will, O Allah, have mercy on me if You will, for nothing is too great for Allah to give). In another narration: (Nothing compels Him).
