The student’s request to complete the book *Tammam al-Mannah* in commentary on *Fiqh al-Sunnah* so that the benefit is complete for students of knowledge.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The student : We hope from Allah and we ask Allah to grant you success in completing the book *Tammam al-Mannah* in commentary on *Fiqh al-Sunnah* so that the benefit is complete for students of knowledge. We hope that you will fulfill this desire for us.

The Shaykh : May Allah bless you. People say about us in Syria, “Do not advise the one who is concerned,” but the truth is also in the old Arabic poetry:
“Not everything a man wishes for does he attain; the winds blow with what the ships do not desire.”
The obligation in serving knowledge, specifically hadith knowledge first and the jurisprudence of hadith second, is a very, very important matter, and its scope is very, very wide. An individual like me cannot bear it or rise to it. Therefore, I work within the limits of my general human capacity first, and my capacity, if that is the right expression, second. The Shaykh : [Note: This segment appears to be a continuation of the previous sentence, specifically the word "capacity" (طاقتي) which was split. In the context of the flow, it connects to segment 6.]
The student : May Allah bless your life.

The Shaykh : May Allah preserve you. And in reality, as you will see, if Allah wills, in the introduction to the edition I mentioned, which was released in the market a few days ago, I stated in the introduction that I feel overwhelmed by the many scholarly works surrounding me, and I feel that I am unable to rise to them all. I also feel that I am unable to perform this duty, which is completing the commentary on *Fiqh al-Sunnah*. However, I said this in the introduction, as you will see. But at least I am striving to speak about the hadiths of the book that come after the book on fasting, because these hadiths are, of course, the foundation upon which *Fiqh al-Sunnah* is built. If the student of knowledge knows what is authentic among them and what is not, the path opens for him to understand the jurisprudence of the book well. This is what I have resolved to do and begun, even though this may take me years. I ask Allah (Mighty and Majestic) to bless our lives and to rectify our deeds.
The student : O Allah, amen.
