What are the conditions for performing Hajj on behalf of another person?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : All right, my lord, "Labbaik on behalf of Shubrumah" — give us an explanation.

The Shaykh : "Labbaik on behalf of Shubrumah" — one cannot derive from this anything other than the one who intends to perform Hajj on behalf of another, regardless of the details of who performs it or who that other person is who can be performed on behalf of. It is not permissible to perform Hajj on behalf of him until he has performed Hajj for himself; this is the only thing that can be derived from it. As for the absolute performance of Hajj on behalf of any person, whether he is an open sinner or a wicked person, whether he is excused or not excused, whether he made a bequest or did not make a bequest, this general principle or this general statement, its ruling is not derived from the hadith of Shubrumah.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.
