What is the ruling on Palestinians accepting compensation for their lands that the Jews have usurped?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : I think we have finished with this. Now, Professor, let us return

The questioner : to the Jews.

The Shaykh : To the Jews. I have no doubt that taking what is called compensation today is selling, and based on the principle that they call it by a name other than its true name, or they call it by a name other than what it is. Perhaps you know that before the establishment of the Jewish state, the Jews had planned to establish their state for many years through secret and very soft plans, among which was buying vast tracts of land from the people of the land, the Palestinians, with money. You know that at that time, fatwas were issued by many scholars forbidding the sale of these lands to the Jews. Now, what was forbidden at that time is now permitted under the name of compensation. There is no doubt that it is not permissible for a Muslim to accept the price of the land from which he was expelled, because that means he is recognizing the Jewish state. This is perhaps a part of the answer to the question. Is there anything else in the question, as I think?
