The Meaning of His Saying, "Or do they have a ladder on which they listen... Or does He have the daughters and you the sons."

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :
Or have they a stairway [into the heaven] upon which they listen
[At-Tur 52:38]
They ascend therein to the sky and listen to what happens in the sky. The answer is no. If they have a ladder, let their listener bring clear proof. And did he bring it?
Never.
Or does He have the daughters and you the sons
This is a rhetorical question of denial, because these people, may Allah protect us from them, say that the angels are the daughters of Allah. They attribute the angels to Allah, Mighty and Majestic, as being His daughters, even though they themselves are not pleased to have daughters attributed to them.
(58) And when one of them is informed of [the birth of] a female, his face becomes dark, and he suppresses grief. (59) He hides himself from the people because of the ill of which he has been informed. Should he keep it in humiliation or bury it in the ground? Unquestionably, evil is what they decide.
[An-Nahl 16:58-59]
Then it goes on to say,
Should he keep it in humiliation or bury it in the ground?
[An-Nahl 16:59]
What does it mean to "hold her in contempt"? It means to keep this girl in humiliation and degradation, or to bury her in the earth while she is still alive. They do not accept daughters for themselves, yet they accept daughters for Allah. So Allah denied that to them.
Or has He daughters while you have sons?
[At-Tur 52:39]
