The Shaykh’s clarification of the danger of communism to Palestine and other countries of the world, and his direction to the questioner not to distinguish between the lands of Islam in this regard

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Now, we have discussed with you a matter of faith, thought, and creed; what is this practical discussion? Why is there a deficiency in your thinking now? Why do you distinguish between Palestine and Albania, for example, my country? Now, I will return to you and speak to you in your language, your language. Why are you now investigating Palestine and not investigating Albania, the region of the communists? That one is occupied by the Jews, and this one is occupied by what? By the communists. Why do you not care about my country, and you want me to care about your country?

The questioner : Because Palestine concerns my life, it concerns my security, it concerns my home.

The Shaykh : I am telling you, may Allah guide you, my dear Shaykh, I am speaking about myself.

The questioner : The difference is clear.

The Shaykh : I am telling you, why do you care about your country, and you are like me, a believer, yet you do not care about my country? And I am with you, a believer. Why do you care about your country and not about my country, when our faith is one?

The questioner : I also care about your country.

The Shaykh : You care about my country.

The questioner : No, absolutely not. Did you bring up Albania in your time? And did you think that there would be an Islamic movement in Albania?

The Shaykh : By Allah, this is our state. We were young children, and we would look at the atlas, and they would color the Islamic countries green and the other countries yellow, so that we would fight the green color and count them among us.

The questioner : We were... look what we have become, my dear one. Your speech now is frank, and it sacrifices only Palestine, and before I mentioned Syria to you, and I mentioned Iraq to you.

The Shaykh : Because a stance is required of me. I am just asking you, and I am interested.

The questioner : A stance is required of him.
The student : A stance is required of you, not just in Palestine, but regarding the entire Islamic world, all of it.

The Shaykh : But there are also priorities.

The questioner : Priorities, not in the way that you want, but priorities in terms of, for example: here you are close, but in terms of creed and thought.

The Shaykh : There is another aspect that also deserves priority: that my home is there, my land is there, and all my rights are there.

The questioner : This is not a reason, my brother. Now, I am just asking you a question.

The Shaykh : Is it not from Islam that I take my rights?

The questioner : Is that what I am telling you? Am I telling you that Islam prevents you from obtaining your rights? There is no power or strength except with Allah.

The Shaykh : A principle regarding rights, for example, do you not give this matter priority?

The questioner : For example, do you not give this matter priority in terms of rights?
