The Shaykh's Introduction.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds. We praise Him, seek His help, seek His forgiveness, and turn to Him in repentance. We seek refuge in Allah from the evils of our own selves and from the badness of our deeds. Whomsoever Allah guides, none can misguide, and whomsoever He leaves to misguide, none can guide. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and His Messenger. Allah the Exalted sent him with guidance and the religion of truth to make it prevail over all other religions. He conveyed the message, fulfilled the trust, advised the nation, and struggled in the cause of Allah with true struggle until certainty came to him. He left his nation upon a clear, white path, its night like its day, from which none deviates except one who is destroyed. So I ask Allah the Exalted to send prayers, peace, and blessings upon him and upon his family. I ask Him, Blessed and Exalted is He, to make me and you among those who follow him outwardly and inwardly, to gather us in his group, to let us drink from his pool, to include us in his intercession, and to unite us with him in the Gardens of Pleasure, together with those upon whom Allah has bestowed favor, namely the prophets, the truthful ones, the martyrs, and the righteous.
As for what follows, O my brothers, the topic of our lesson for this session will be repentance to Allah Mighty and Majestic. Indeed, Allah the Exalted loves those who repent and loves those who purify themselves.
