The Meaning of (And We Seek His Help)

The Shaykh : And We Seek His Help, meaning we ask Him for assistance. With what? I ask you, what do you say in the prayer? With what do we seek His help? With everything. And the first and most important thing included in that is what we are currently doing. You say: With everything, and among that is seeking His help to perform the prayer in the manner that pleases Him. And when you speak in this sermon, you seek the help of Allah the Exalted for this sermon that you will deliver, and you ask Him for assistance. And in the hadith: Seek the help of Allah in everything. If you want to fulfill your need, seek the help of Allah in everything. Do not consider anything too small, even when performing the ablution, when going out to the mosque, or when doing any deed. Make your companion the seeking of help from Allah Mighty and Majestic.
