Many women are accustomed to having their mahrams see a woman's breast when she is nursing her child; is this permissible?

The questioner : Many women here are accustomed to having their mahrams, such as the father, brother, or paternal uncle, see a woman's breast when she is nursing her child. Is this permissible? Is there scholarly disagreement on this issue? I hope you will inform me with the evidence.

The Shaykh : A woman is with her mahrams as a woman is with another woman, based on the saying of Allah the Exalted:
And tell the believing women to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts and not expose their adornment except that which [necessarily] appears thereof and to wrap [a portion of] their headcovers over their chests and not expose their adornment except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands' fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers, their brothers' sons, their sisters' sons, their women, that which their right hands possess, or those male attendants having no physical desire, or children who are not yet aware of the private aspects of women
[An-Nur 24:31]
However, it is not befitting for a woman to expose her breast when nursing her child while men are around, except if it is her father, or if she is an old woman and she has only her son, for example. This is because exposing a woman's breast before her mahrams is feared to lead to fitnah (trial, discord or temptation), for the soul is inclined to evil, and Satan flows through the son of Adam like blood. Accordingly, if she needs to nurse her child while her mahram men are around, let her cover the breast with the end of her garment so that no man sees it. Yes.
