If one lends his brother gold for a period, does he return the same weight even if its value has decreased?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : And this says: One of the brothers lends to some of his acquaintances.

The Shaykh : Come, come, not the one behind you, you come, sit here so you don't play.

The questioner : One of the brothers lends to some of his acquaintances easy loans, extending to long periods, seeking the reward, and asks: If I lent gold, and after Allah made it easy for the debtor, he returns the same weight of gold, so that his money is safe, even though its value may decrease with the passage of time?

The Shaykh : There is no harm in this, meaning if a person lends someone gold, or silver, or food, or anything that is permissible to lend, in order to preserve its value, then upon repayment he returns the like of what was lent. If he lent gold weighing, for example, so many grams, he returns gold, and there is no harm in this.
