A person who has turned back to Allah but does not know how to repent to Allah; I would like you to clarify this, O honorable Shaykh.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : A person who has turned back to Allah but does not know how to repent to Allah; I would like you to clarify this, O honorable Shaykh?

The Shaykh : Yes. Turning back to Allah (Mighty and Majestic) means that one feels remorse for what has happened from him, and that he wishes he had not committed the sin, and that he resolves not to return to it in the future. It is not a condition that he does not return; the condition is that he resolves not to return. So, if it is assumed that his soul incites him and he returns to the sin, then his first repentance is valid with regard to the previous sin, and this subsequent sin requires him to repent. Yes.
