Women in our village when they go out to the farms or outside their homes: they wear their best clothes and use perfume.
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The women in the village, when they go out to the farms or outside their homes, wear their best clothes and use perfume. In their homes with their husbands, we find that they do not show interest in this. And when we try to advise them, they do not listen to the advice. We ask you for information regarding this?
The Shaykh : A woman going out to the market perfumed or displaying her adornment in beautiful, enticing clothes is a forbidden exit that is not permissible, because of the fitnah (trial, discord or temptation) caused by her and through her. It is obligatory for her wali (the bride's guardian) to prevent her from going out in this manner, whether he is her husband, her father, or her brother, because this is tabarruj (a woman's display of her adornment). And Allah the Exalted said:[Al-Ahzab 33:33].
My advice to them, to these women who go out to the market in these clothes and with these perfumes, is that they should fear Allah the Exalted in themselves and in their community. If they go out to the market in these clothes, people will be tempted by them and they will become the talk of the people. It is obligatory for them to fear Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, and not to go out perfumed or adorned.

and do not display yourselves as [was] the display of the former times of ignorance
