We see some people placing papers on their cars and on their doors, such as the supplication for travel, the supplication for sitting, and the supplications reported from the Messenger

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : We see some people placing papers on their cars and on their doors, such as the supplication for going out, the supplication for sitting, and the supplications reported from the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him)?

The Shaykh : I do not think there is any harm in this, because it serves as a reminder for people, and many people do not memorize these supplications. So if they are written in front of them, it makes it easier for them to recite and read them, and there is no blame in this. It is like a person writing the supplication for the expiation of the gathering in his sitting place to remind those present to supplicate to Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) with it when they stand up. Likewise, the small cards placed in front of the driver in cars containing the supplication for riding and travel, there is nothing wrong with that.
