What is the best supplication on the Day of 'Arafah?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Peace be upon you.

The Shaykh : And upon you peace and the mercy of Allah

The questioner : What is the best of the supplications, O Shaykh, on the Day of 'Arafah?

The Shaykh : The best of the remembrance.

The questioner : The supplication, O Shaykh.

The Shaykh : On the Day of 'Arafah and other days, "There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He is over all things competent". Remembrance is supplication, but it is implicit supplication, because when one praises Allah (Mighty and Majestic) with His remembrance, his state is such that the tongue of his state says, "O Lord, keep me firm upon this remembrance." For this reason, some scholars said that remembrance is, in reality, supplication, because if you asked any person who is remembering Allah why he remembers Him, he would say, "So that He will reward me."
But if a person supplicates with the supplication he desires, such as "Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire", or if he chooses supplications from the Qur'an or the Sunnah, that is good. I do not know of a specific supplication for 'Arafah. Rather, a person should say what is easy for him. If he knows any of the supplications in the Qur'an or the Sunnah, let him supplicate with them, for they are the best of supplications. And if he does not know them, let him supplicate with what he desires. Yes.
