The Shaykh : We add a fourth piece of evidence, which is: correct reasoning.
For any person who has come to know the status of prayer and its greatness in the sight of Allah (Mighty and Majestic), and that Allah the Exalted made it obligatory in a manner in which He did not make any other act of worship obligatory, and who knows the virtue and reward in establishing it, and the punishment and disgrace in neglecting it, can never, ever abandon it while having any faith in his heart, ever. For faith is not merely a person acknowledging Allah (Mighty and Majestic) or the message of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), for acknowledging the Lord and the message of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) may occur from among the polytheists, but faith is affirmation accompanied by acceptance and submission.
