The Shaykh : After that, we wrote two letters, which you may have seen, on the obligation of taking 'aqidah from ahad hadiths, as a response to this Tahrir Party.

The Shaykh : Yes, yes, this indicates to you something of their methodology and their scholarly weakness. They are still, even today, confused in this matter. The last thing they put out on this topic was: philosophy, so that they would not admit that they were in error, and that Al-Albani or someone else had established the proof against them. They came up with terms they coined so that they would not say: "The truth, by Allah, is that 'aqidah is taken from ahad hadiths." What did they say?! But before I tell you the end, I will tell you: the beginning, the middle, and the end. The first beginning of their opinion on ahad hadiths was: It is not permissible to take 'aqidah from ahad hadiths.
