The forbidden movement in prayer.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : The fourth: The forbidden.
The forbidden movement is the excessive, continuous movement without necessity: that it be an excessive, continuous movement, meaning successive, without necessity.
Our saying
The excessive movementالحركة الكثيرة
excludes the slight movement, which is disliked.
The continuousالمتوالية
excludes the scattered movement, if a person moves slightly in the first rak'ah, slightly in the second, slightly in the third, and slightly in the fourth.
If we combined these movements, we would find them to be excessive, but because they are scattered, they become slight, so they do not take the ruling of excessive movement.
Without necessityلغير ضرورة
to exclude the movement done out of necessity,
such as: if a person is in a state of readiness for battle, needing excessive movement in carrying his weapon and aiming it at the enemy, and the like. And Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, said:
And when they have prostrated, let them be [in position] behind you and have the other group come forward which has not [yet] prayed and let them pray with you, taking precaution and carrying their arms.
[An-Nisa 4:102]
This is a requirement that is necessary for the one who strives in the path of Allah.
And of that, if an enemy catches up with him while he is fleeing from it, then this excessive movement is excused, because it is for necessity.
And of that, if a snake attacks him while he is praying, and he tries to defend himself against it, then this movement, even if it is excessive, is permissible, because it is for necessity.
Apart from that, it is disliked, and it is the slight movement without need, and I think we have mentioned it.
