Is it permissible to add to the adhkar that came in the Sunnah?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : In the matter of the question regarding the dhikr, which is the tasbih of one hundred times, or saying something like it, or adding to it, or increasing beyond it, the matter can be confusing. We were discussing this topic yesterday. We said that adding to it—I do not know what I understand by this. So I said that if one adds to it, it should be a change, not this same dhikr itself, increasing beyond the one hundred times as the texts came from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), but rather another dhikr that was added to it, like this matter. What is your opinion? What is it, O Shaykh, that was added to it?

The Shaykh : This is mentioned in Al-Kalim al-Tayyib.

The questioner : Yesterday we were talking about this. He says, "I know this thing," but the brother, meaning he is from the same methodology, but he said that in this text it became clear that he increases beyond what came from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).

The Shaykh : Meaning, instead of thirty-three, he says thirty-four is better. That is how I understood it.
The student : O Shaykh, what does he say about it?

The questioner : About this topic.

The Shaykh : May Allah guide you.

The questioner : Amen, and you too.

The Shaykh : I am giving an example.

The questioner : Yes, yes.

The Shaykh : Meaning, instead of saying Subhan Allah thirty-three times, he says thirty-four is better. Say no.

The questioner : No, no, no.

The Shaykh : Okay, instead of saying La ilaha illa Allah wahdahu one hundred times, he says one hundred and one is better.
The student : Adhering to the text is preferable.

The Shaykh : This is the addition that was mentioned in the hadith. The intended addition is from the other prescribed adhkar, which is permissible.

The questioner : Yes, yes.

The Shaykh : I said that this is mentioned in the book Al-Kalim al-Tayyib in the commentary.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.

The Shaykh: And upon you peace.

The questioner : How are you, my master?

The Shaykh : Welcome.

The questioner : How are you?

The Shaykh : Praise be to Allah, I am well.

The questioner : We want to ask you this small question, if there is no disturbance.

The Shaykh : It is big, or there is no disturbance.

The questioner : May Allah bless you.

The Shaykh : May Allah preserve you.
