The Shaykh 'Aid 'Abassi's speech, and the clarification that the Salafi call contains the good of this world and the Hereafter and happiness in both.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The student: This call contains the good of this world and the Hereafter; it contains the Muslim's dignity in his worldly life and his happiness in his afterlife. Sometimes, for the sake of a worldly gain or a worldly interest, a person may sacrifice his life. So how much more so when there is a matter that contains his dignity and the dignity of his nation, and the happiness of all people in this world and the Hereafter, and before that and after it, the pleasure of Allah (Mighty and Majestic)?
O you who have believed, respond to Allah and to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life. And know that Allah intervenes between a man and his heart and that to Him you will be gathered.
[Al-Anfal 8:24]
This is the call of Allah (Mighty and Majestic); it is a trust in your necks that you receive from your righteous predecessors. In it is your good and in it is your dignity. So come to understanding it, applying it, and acting according to its rulings, so that we may restore the conduct of our righteous predecessors and be the best successors to the best predecessors. May Allah (Mighty and Majestic) support us, and on that day the believers will rejoice in the victory of Allah. He will support whom He wills, and He is the Almighty, the Wise. I ask Allah (Mighty and Majestic) to unite the word of the Ummah upon His Book and the Sunnah of His Prophet, and what He loves and is pleased with, and to make us among those who serve this call, support it, assist it, spread it, and act upon it. And may Allah send blessings upon Muhammad and upon his family and all his Companions, and all praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
