It is mentioned in the hadith (that a man cursed his she-camel, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him, “Get down from it, for a cursed one should not follow us”). Does this indicate that the she-camel

The questioner: In the hadith of the she-camel that the man cursed, the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said to her, or said to her owner:
Get down from it, for a cursed one should not follow us انزل عنها ، فلا يتبعنا ملعون
.

The Shaykh: Yes.

The questioner: Is it not permissible to sell this she-camel, or to eat it or buy it, on the grounds that it is cursed?

The Shaykh: We do not have anything that necessitates this compulsion. Any text that goes against the original principle is not to be elaborated upon or expanded; rather, one stops at what is stated.

The questioner: Does the Companion’s leaving of this she-camel mean anything?

The Shaykh: No, it just means that she was not to accompany them.

The questioner: ... the narrator of the hadith ... then it was a she-camel belonging to a woman, and he told her to leave it, so he said it went astray and wandered, and no one took care of it until, as they say, after the death of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), it continued to wander with no one taking care of it. So when the sheep died in another hadith, when they threw it away, he said to him:
Why did you not benefit from its hide and tan it? هلَّا انتَفَعْتُم بإهَابِها فدَبَغْتُمُوه
. If it had been permissible to eat it or benefit from it, he would have told them, instead of letting it keep wandering, that the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) should slaughter them all, meaning.

The Shaykh: Yes, my dear, this statement is sound, but we are missing one thing. In the case of the sheep, the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) saw it lying there and said, he did not say:
Why did you not benefit from it? هلَّا انتَفَعْتُم بها
. As for the she-camel, we do not have a report that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) knew that this she-camel would continue to be a stray and lost. This is first. The second thing is that the owner’s abandoning of the she-camel resembles another story I will mention. – Peace be upon you and Allah’s mercy and blessings, please, did you open it? –
The student : May Allah reward you.

The Shaykh: The other story, they are two stories.
The student: Peace be upon you.

The Shaykh : And upon you be peace, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
The student: Peace be upon you.

The Shaykh : And upon you be peace, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
The student: How are you, my professor?

The Shaykh: Please, here it says Sami.
The student: ... the chairs.

The Shaykh : How?
The student: ... the chairs.

The Shaykh: One moment, welcome.
The student : May Allah reward you with good.

The Shaykh: If I had known you were coming, I would have called out to you, and I did call out several times, but I did not get to see you.
The student: There is no power nor strength except with Allah.

The Shaykh: I don’t know, the strange index, the index of the hadith.
The student: Yes.

The Shaykh: Send the original, and you did not send the proof.
The student : Strange.

The Shaykh : Yes.
The student: It is easy, if Allah wills, it is what you want.

The Shaykh: Verification.
The student: No, my intention is the Shaykh’s style, the young people there applied it.

The Shaykh: No, no, I don’t have anything, I only have this original.
The student: I only have this, yes, it wasn’t sent, meaning the verification, that’s what you mean.

The Shaykh: Yes, nothing was sent.
The student: No, they did it, but I tell you what I saw, of course ... at Abu Ahmad’s.

The Shaykh: Did anyone reply to you?
The student : ... .

The Shaykh : Okay, yes.
The student: So I returned it to them because they had only put the letter alif and forgot to put a ba at the ba and a ta at the ta, so it seems they forgot to return it, or they returned it, and our brother Abu Ahmad had brought it or something like that.

The Shaykh : Good, if Allah wills.
The student : May Allah reward you.

The Shaykh: May Allah bless you, value these cups, may Allah reward you.
