Is a student of knowledge given from the funds of zakah what suffices him in books?

The Shaykh : But do we give him what suffices him in books? Yes, all the more so, because knowledge is not completed except through books. So we buy him books from the zakah, or we give him the money to buy them. However, this applies only to the books he needs and must have. As for books that he would merely use to fill a library, we do not give him that. We give him only what he needs from books, from the zakah. That is fine.
