Does the Messenger write?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Does the Messenger write? This means he ordered it to be written, just as you say, "The prince built his palace," which does not mean he personally did the work, but rather that he ordered it to be built. It is said that the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) used to write after the revelation was sent down to him, because Allah said:
And you did not recite before it any scripture, nor did you inscribe one with your right hand وما كنت تتلو من قبله من كتاب ولا تخطه بيمينك
[Al-'Ankabut 29:48]
And you did not recite before it وما كنت تتلو من قبله
As for after that, the Messenger used to write, but it appears that he did not write much; he only wrote simple things, such as his name (peace and blessings be upon him) and the like.
