Explanation of the second hadith in this chapter, which is the hadith of Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : And in the second hadith, this phrase is affirmed in another form, as he said after narrating with his authentic chain from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
It does not seem proper for a Siddiq that he should be an invoker of curse. لا ينبغي للصديق أن يكون لعانا
Sahih Muslim 2597a
.
Here too, the close friend (siddiq) is specifically mentioned, and it is stated that it is not permissible for him to be one who curses frequently: meaning one who habitually curses. So the intended meaning of "close friend" here is broader than if the intended meaning were Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), who was known by this title. That was when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was taken in the Night Journey to the Sacred Mosque and the highest heavens, and then he informed the people of it. Many denied him, and some came intending to sow discord between the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and his companion in the cave. When the polytheists heard his statement, they came to Abu Bakr and said: "O Abu Bakr, do you have any interest in your companion? He claims that he traveled a month's journey in one night and returned in the same night?" Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "If he said it, then he has spoken the truth, and we believe him in matters even greater than this; we believe him regarding news from the heavens." From that day on, Abu Bakr was called the Siddiq (the Truthful One) (may Allah be pleased with him). So the statement of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in this hadith
It is not befitting for a close friend لا ينبغي للصديق
is broader than if it were intended specifically for Abu Bakr, even though the first person to fall under this description is Abu Bakr himself, in the face of the Messenger (peace be upon him) toward Abu Bakr himself.
So this hadith confirms the hadith before it in that it is not permissible for one who holds the status of a close friend to be dominated by the use of the word "curse," whether cursing people, animals, or others. There is no doubt that the intended meaning of this warning to the close friends is that they should not be those who curse frequently, but only if the cursing is not in its rightful place. However, if a man curses one who deserves to be cursed, especially if he is following a text in the Shari'ah in doing so, then he does not fall under the prohibition. The intended meaning of the warning to the close friends not to be those who curse frequently is cursing without right, such as backbiting, talebearing, and the like. But if it is in the way of reconciliation, warning, or ... those who deserve to be cursed by Allah (Mighty and Majestic), then all of that does not fall under this chapter.
We give a real example that came in the authentic hadith
Two categories of the people of the Fire have I not seen them: men carrying whips like the tails of cattle with which they strike people, and women who are covered yet naked, leaning and causing others to lean, their heads like the sloping humps of camels. Curse them, for they are cursed. They will not enter Paradise and will not find its scent, and its scent is found from a distance of so much and so much.
, and in another authentic hadith, "and its scent is found from a distance of a hundred miles."
Here the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) says: "These women who are covered yet naked, if you see them, curse them, for they are cursed." So whoever does that has not contradicted this hadith, because the intended meaning of the hadith is cursing frequently without right.
