The questioner : Can the jinn enter the human body? And how can it enter the human body when it was created from fire and the human was created from clay?
The Shaykh : Answer - briefly, as recommended, due to the large number of questions - : It is possible for them to do so, but only after they transform into another form that enables them to do it. This occurred during the time of the Messenger (peace be upon him); in most narrations, it is reported that he expelled some of the jinn who were possessing some people. The Messenger (peace be upon him) would address them, and they would come out of the possessed person in the form of smoke. In this way, they can enter the human body. This is among the matters of the unseen, which the mind cannot comprehend except through faith; either by the Qur'anic text, or by tangible reality. The Qur'anic text in the Qur'an is:[Al-Baqarah 2:275]. [Al-Baqarah 2:275] is the possessed person, and the possessed person is observed. It is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), as we mentioned, that he expelled the devils from the possessed people. This happens in every time and place. Among those famous for this is Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (may Allah have mercy on him), as it was well known that he would expel the devils from the possessed.
