The ruling on one who denies the entry of jinn into humans

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Your Eminence! What is the ruling on one who denies that epilepsy may be caused by jinn?

Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) says in Zad al-Ma'ad: Those who deny the epilepsy caused by jinn are ignorant people who have no knowledge; their knowledge is merely material. And he denied this strongly and said: Epilepsy is of two types: epilepsy caused by jinn, and epilepsy due to a disorder of the nerves.
And what he said is the truth; for it has been widely reported that some of the epileptic patients speak with the jinn inside them and address the reciter. And he mentioned a story about his Shaykh, Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah: He was brought a man who was epileptic, and he began to recite over the epileptic, and the jinn in the man addressed him, a female jinn who had fallen in love with this man and entered his body, so he admonished her, and she said: I love you, I love the man.Shaykh al-Islam says: He does not love you, and he is truthful, and he certainly does not love her. She refused to come out, so the Shaykh al-Islam struck her; he struck the man, but in reality the blow fell on the female jinn inside him.He says: Until his hand grew weary from striking, and the epileptic did not feel it.She said, meaning: The female jinn—To Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah: I will come out as a favor to the Shaykh. He said: Do not come out as a favor to me; come out in obedience to Allah and His Messenger; for Allah and His Messenger forbid transgressing against people. So she came out.And when the man regained consciousness, he said: What brought me to the presence of the Shaykh? His family brought him to the Shaykh, and he recited over him and struck the jinn, and he was not aware of it.He said: What brought me to the presence of the Shaykh? So the important point is that epilepsy is of two types: It is epilepsy of the nerves, which doctors know about and can treat, and it is cured by the permission of Allah. And epilepsy of the jinn, which is cured by recitation. And how many people recite and have great power, so much so that the jinn screams and says: Leave me, leave me! But if he persists with the recitation, it comes out. And it may return if the first reciter dies, as is mentioned that Imam Ahmad (may Allah have mercy on him) used to recite over an epileptic, and the jinn came out of him. When Imam Ahmad died, the jinn came and entered him a second time. The reciter came to recite the verses that Imam Ahmad used to recite, but the jinn refused to come out and said to him—Meaning: The jinn said to the reciter: The recitation is the same recitation, but the reciter is not the same reciter. And it refused to come out.
And I urge you, may Allah bless you, to be safe from the evil of these transgressing jinn. I urge you to be diligent in reciting the Quranic and Prophetic adhkar, including the recitation of Ayat al-Kursi, believing that Allah protects with it.The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: (Whoever recites it in the night, a protector from Allah will remain over him, and Satan will not approach him until he becomes morning) And when people neglected the prescribed adhkar, the jinn increased among them now and played with them.
