Some preachers mentioned a hadith: “The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) intended to perform i'tikaf (spiritual retreat in the mosque). When he went to the place where he intended to perform i'tikaf, he found the tents of Aisha, the tent of Hafsa, and the tent of Zaynab. He said, ‘Do you claim that you are observing i'tikaf in these tents?’ Then he left and did not perform i'tikaf until he performed i'tikaf for ten days in Shawwal.”
