Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : What is the meaning of gold that is bordered? The word "bordered" or "encircling"?

The Shaykh : Encircling gold is that which surrounds the limb, and its examples are explicitly stated in the authentic hadith:
Whoever loves to encircle his beloved with a collar of fire, let him encircle him with a collar of gold. And whoever loves to put a bracelet of fire on his beloved, let him put a bracelet of gold on him. And whoever loves to encircle his beloved with a ring of fire, let him encircle him with a ring of gold.
This is encircling gold. Its opposite is cut gold, which does not surround the limb, such as buttons, the shaped rose, and the like of what some women wear. The questioner can find the details of this summary in his book "Etiquette of the Wedding in the Pure Sunnah"
