What is the meaning of encircling or ringed gold?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The questioner asks here: what is the meaning of the word "encircling" or "ringed" regarding gold?

The Shaykh : Ringed gold is that which encircles a limb. Its examples are explicitly stated in the authentic hadith:
Whoever loves to encircle his beloved with a collar of fire, let him encircle him with a collar of gold. And whoever loves to encircle his beloved with a bracelet of fire, let him encircle him with a bracelet of gold. And whoever loves to encircle his beloved with a ring of fire, let him encircle him with a ring of gold.
This is ringed gold. The opposite is cut gold, which does not encircle the neck, such as the azar, the rose-shaped brooch, and similar items that some women wear. The questioner can find the details of this summary in my book, *Adab al-Zafaf fi al-Sunnah al-Mutaharah* (The Etiquette of Marriage in the Pure Sunnah).
