Is it from the Sunnah for a man to separate from his wife while he is in his home and not in i'tikaf?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : But here is a question; a questioner asked me about it and said: Is it from the Sunnah to separate from your wife while you are in your home?
Is it from the Sunnah to separate from your wife while you are in your home? Sleeping in the bed, not getting up to pray...
The student: ... .

The Shaykh : I mean, you are saying: No, it is not from the Sunnah to... in the ten nights...
What appears to me, and Allah knows best, is that it is not from the Sunnah to separate from women in the ten nights, except for one whose situation is like the situation of whom? Like the situation of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who was in i'tikaf. And it is better that you remain in your i'tikaf and not invalidate the i'tikaf for the sake of going to your family and having intercourse with your family.
As for a man in his home, it does not appear to me that it is prescribed for him to separate from women.
All right, are there things specific to the last ten nights?
