Is it permissible for a woman to observe the mourning period for her husband in her parents' home, or is she required to do so in her husband's home, even if he has more than one wife?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : If a man dies and he has more than one wife, is it permissible for them to observe the mourning period in their parents' homes, with their fathers and brothers, or is it necessary for them to remain in the husband's home for the mourning period?

The Shaykh : It is obligatory for the wife, if her husband dies, to remain for the duration of the waiting period in the house where her husband died and in which she was residing, whether she is the only wife or one of several. It is not permissible for her to leave it for her parents' home unless there is a dire necessity.
On this occasion, I would like to clarify that it is obligatory for a woman to observe the mourning period for her husband for the entire duration of the waiting period by avoiding adornment in all its forms, whether in clothing or jewelry. She must avoid beautification, such as using kohl, reddening the face, and the like. She must avoid perfume in all its forms, except if she needs to purify herself, in which case she may use camphor and azafrar, which are two types of perfume used only to follow the trace of blood to remove this odor. She must avoid leaving her husband's home, or the house where her husband died and in which she was residing, so she does not leave except for a dire necessity, or if there is a pressing need, she may leave during the day but not at night. She is required to stay in the house; if her leaving is for a dire necessity, it is permissible at night and day. If it is for neither a dire necessity nor a pressing need, it is not permissible at night or day. If it is for a pressing need but not a dire necessity, it is permissible during the day but not at night.
