The ruling on wiping the chest after sending blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).

The questioner : After every Friday sermon, or any sermon, or a small gathering, at the end he says, "And blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad." What do we need to do to send blessings? We say, "O Allah, send blessings and peace," and he wipes his body during this. Is there an explicit text regarding this?
