The Shaykh spoke about limiting the number of children, what is called "birth control"

The Shaykh : But here, the disliked form of coitus interruptus is the one that is not accompanied by a pre-Islamic belief. And unfortunately, this may occur in the pre-Islamic age of ignorance of the twentieth century, just as it occurred in the pre-Islamic age of the first Arabs. Many people today adopt what is called limiting the number of children, or they claim it is birth control. If they only knew, this word is disbelief. Regulating the number of children is never in the hands of humans, no matter how much a person tries to regulate the number of children, the system of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) prevails, whether they will it or not. This is what happened in the time of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), where he was asked: "We go out and fight and strive in the path of Allah, and captives or female captives fall into our hands. They long for women, but they do not want that if they have intercourse with the slave girl, she should become pregnant with her master's child, because he might dispense with her. So should we practice coitus interruptus?" The question was like this. So he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The point is that limiting the number of children or regulating the number of children is a purely European materialistic idea, held by those who do not believe in Allah, as per the text of the Noble Qur'an: Who are they? So I want to say that this regulation or limitation, if there is a legitimate religious excuse—and I do not want to delve into this area—we say there is nothing wrong with it, and it is permissible out of dire necessity. But if it is for the sake of regulating or limiting the number of children, and Allah, my salary does not suffice for me and my wife, and we barely have one or two children, this is what Allah (Mighty and Majestic) referred to in His saying: Killing previously was by open infanticide; killing now is by hidden infanticide, which is originally disliked, but if it is accompanied by such an intention, this hidden infanticide becomes forbidden. But if it is not accompanied by a bad intention like this, it remains disliked. Why? For a very important reason, which is that coitus interruptus is a type of the effects of monasticism. And I hope you pay attention to what I am saying: it is a type of the effects of monasticism. What are the effects of monasticism? First, that a person suppresses his desire and does not give his body its right, so he becomes a monk. Then he falls into what is more than monasticism, as we hear about the monks of the Christians. Second, the one who practices coitus interruptus actually does not take the full extent of his permissible desire without interruption. Third, and finally, this is the most important: the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Meaning, I will be shown off by the multitude of my Ummah to the prophets on the Day of Resurrection. So those who practice coitus interruptus reduce the offspring of his Ummah (peace and blessings be upon him), meaning they do not fulfill the desire of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him). So from here, coitus interruptus is disliked. But if it is accompanied by a pre-Islamic idea, it becomes forbidden at that time. Likewise, if it is accompanied by what many women do, and with the permission of the men, and not against their wills, that a woman exposes herself to be examined by a doctor. Why? For what they call cleaning, or what they call—I do not know—and the earth may be inhabited by some doctors who know us better than others. The point is that exposing the 'awrah is not permissible except for a very necessary matter, otherwise it falls into the forbidden.
