Among the supplications of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) for one who wears new clothing

The Shaykh : I say on this occasion that there is a hadith in *Sahih al-Bukhari* that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was given some clothes, so he dressed a daughter of his relatives with them. He said to her: This means "wear it out," meaning live long and wear out the garment I have put on you. It contains a supplication for her to have a long life so that she can wear out and use up this new garment, of course.
