Discussion of the correct meaning of the hadith: (The Hour will not be established while there is on the face of the earth anyone who says: Allah, Allah)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : On this occasion, I remind you that some people and some shaykhs misinterpret this hadith:
The Hour will not be established while there is on the face of the earth anyone who says: Allah, Allah لا تقوم الساعة وعلى وجه الأرض مَن يقول : الله الله
; the meaning of the hadith is not that one who says in dhikr: "Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah" in such a way that a state of ecstasy takes hold of him; no, this has no basis in the Sunnah. Rather, the meaning of the hadith, as it came in an authentic narration from Imam Ahmad in "al-Musnad":
The Hour will not be established while there is on the face of the earth anyone who says: There is no god but Allah لا تقوم الساعة وعلى وجه الأرض مَن يقول : لا إله إلا الله
, and this clarifies for you that the Hour will not be established over the people of tawhid (the oneness of Allah), even if the people of tawhid had no virtue except this alone, it would suffice them; that is, the earth will remain inhabited as long as there is one person of tawhid among them, so the Hour will not be established except over the mushrikin (those who associate partners with Allah), as he (peace be upon him) said:
The last hour will come only when people are wicked. لا تقوم الساعة إلا على شرار الخلق
Mishkat al-Masabih 5517
, and the worst of creation are the disbelievers, and every disbeliever is a mushrik, as we have explained to you that as well, repeatedly and over and over.
Other than that?
