A man recites al-Fatihah in the tashahhud while forgetting; does this invalidate his prayer?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : A man recites al-Fatihah in the tashahhud while forgetting; does he have to repeat the prayer?

The Shaykh : He does not have to repeat the prayer if he recites al-Fatihah in the tashahhud while forgetting, but it is obligatory for him to recite the tashahhud, because the final tashahhud that is followed by the taslim is a pillar, and the first, middle tashahhud is an obligatory part of the prayer. Let it be known that it is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said:
And see that I have been forbidden to recite the Qur'an in the state of bowing and prostration. ألا وإني نهيت أن أقرأ القرآن راكعا أو ساجدا
Sahih Muslim 479a
Therefore, it is not permissible for the one praying to recite the Qur'an while bowing, nor to recite the Qur'an while prostrating. Yes, if he supplicates with a supplication from the Qur'an, there is no harm, but if he recites the Qur'an while bowing or prostrating, that is forbidden for him. Some scholars have held that if he recites while bowing or prostrating, his prayer is invalidated because he is prohibited from doing so.
