The questioner : He said: May Allah guide you, O esteemed Shaykh, you mentioned that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is the most patient of the messengers, and Allah the Exalted mentioned that Noah (peace be upon him) was patient in his call to his people for a thousand years minus fifty years, and Ayyub as well, mentioning that he had a share of patience. So what is the reconciliation between this and what you mentioned? May Allah guide you.

The Shaykh : Patience is not measured by quantity or the length of time, but it may be higher in terms of quality and what befalls one who is afflicted with harm.
So be patient, [O Muhammad], as were those of determination among the messengers فَاصْبِرْ كَمَا صَبَرَ أُولُو الْعَزْمِ مِنَ الرُّسُلِ
[Al-Ahqaf 46:35]
Otherwise, it is known that Allah the Exalted tested Ibrahim (peace be upon him) by throwing him into the fire, but Allah saved him from it, so he said:
O fire, be coolness and safety upon Abraham."يا نار كوني بردا وسلاما على إبراهيم
[Al-Anbya 21:69]
