The questioner : The question says: Your Eminence, the Shaykh, we see women in the open fields during the spring break not guarding themselves against going far from their family’s camp, whether on the sands or elsewhere, without hijab or abaya. What is your advice to these women and to their guardians who neglect them, thereby tempting those of weak character and the wolves of mankind with these women? We ask for guidance and advice on this occasion.

The Shaykh : This is, with Allah, an important question, and some people may fall into this problem that the questioner mentioned, may Allah reward him with good. It is that some people go out with their families, and this is common, and in this family there are young women who go far from the place of the tent, and they go without an abaya as he said, and they do not care if they expose their faces because they do not see anyone around them. There is no doubt that this tempts the tempted and the fools to roam in these open fields, and it is feared that their souls may be tempted to abduct these girls, either by force or by choice, because the matter is easy. He finds a young girl, and he is a young man, and there is no one around her, so it will be easy for him to do what Satan dictates to him of violating this woman’s honor, either by choice or by force, either by choice and tempting her while the woman is close, or by force where he coerces her into committing the sin, may Allah protect us from that. It is not far-fetched that there are people among the fools who hunt for such girls. Therefore, a person must protect his family from roaming far from the tent, and he must also ensure that they do not expose their faces if they see men, even if they are far away, because some men carry binoculars that bring the distant close, and they may look at people through this binocular, and the prohibited thing may occur. This is one of the major sins that accompanies going to parks during such breaks, meaning that what spoils their tranquility is that such situations occur: the neglect of the girls, they go right and left far from their families, and harm results from that. We ask Allah for safety. Yes.
