Is it prescribed to place a line to straighten the rows in prayer?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : The fact that the worshippers differ and do not pay attention to straightening the rows as is the Sunnah, and it is not at all from the Sunnah to straighten the rows on a line; because this is from the religious innovations that have spread in many Islamic lands until hardly anyone escapes from it except a very, very few, because this line trains people in the opposite of what the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) intended in the previous hadith, which is for Muslims to pay attention to straightening the rows, not on a line, because the line becomes like a shackle that shackles its owner, so if he is told to move forward, he moves forward, and if he is told to move back, he moves back, following this line that was placed for him. And there is no doubt that this line has a very negative effect that contradicts what those who innovated this innovation in this time aim for, and this is most clearly apparent when the Muslims gather for prayer, for example, in the prayer ground, the prayer of 'Id al-Fitr or 'Id al-Adha. Here you see the amazing thing; you hardly find a row, especially if it is very, very long, you hardly find a row that is straight as if it were straightened on a line. Why? Because they have become accustomed to their straightness being on the line.
The Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) — and this is an interjected sentence, even if it is a bit long — the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) made the neglect of straightening the rows a cause for striking the faces and hearts of these people who differ in the row, because the apparent affects the soundness of the inner or its corruption. Therefore, it is obligatory to pay attention to these matters, contrary to those ignorant people who say: "The criterion is what is in the heart." If what is in the heart is sound, there is no doubt that this soundness will appear on the body, as the poet said: "Every vessel emits what is in it." So if the heart is sound in performing the obligatory acts and duties, it must be that its work is sound, and the opposite is the opposite completely.
